First Pics: Linsdell's Paton Lightweight TT race bike

Meet Paton’s S1 race bike, a Kawasaki-powered 650 twin that Olie Linsdell will campaign in the 2014 BikeNation.co.uk Lightweight TT.

Paton revealed a street-legal version of the S1 at EICMA last year and later confirmed they would take on the 2014 Isle of Man TT, fielding the bike in the lightweight category. Linsdell, who won last year’s Bennetts 500cc Classic TT aboard a Paton BIC 500 BL3 replica, tweeted these pictures of the S1 almost ready for race action.

Linsdell says with the exception of the engine, the S1 race bike is completely standard. The chassis features the firm’s own tubular steel trellis frame.
