Ducati announces UK track days

Bring your own Ducati or hire a 1299 Panigale, 899 Panigale or Monster 1200S – either way Ducati UK has hired Donington Park and Silverstone and are hosting their own track days for your pleasure. The hire bikes are even available on a session-by-session basis should you wish to try each of them.

  • Tuesday 26th May: Donington Park
  • Tuesday 28th July: Silverstone
  • Price: £175 inc. breakfast and lunch

Importantly, not only are both track days running on the full Grand Prix circuits but both are classed as ‘noisy days’ meaning that the limit will be up at 105dB. What’s more, Ducati’s World Superbike riders, Chaz Davies and Davide Giugliano, will be on hand to advise although only at the Donington date.

Welshman Davies finished both the first two rounds of the 2015 Superbike World Championship in Australia in third place while the Giugliano was forced to sit out after a testing crash left him with two fractured vertebrae. The Italian’s injury led to the sensational return of three-time Superbike World Champion, Troy Bayliss.

Silverstone or Donington Park, your choice

The team’s Project Director, Ernesto Marinelli, will also be at the Donington Park track day to offer words of wisdom.

Hire prices include fuel and tyre usage with the 145bhp Monster 1200 S available at £255, 148bhp 899 Panigale for £275 and the brand-new 205bhp 1299 Panigale for £355.

The track days will be operated by the California Superbike School while the Ducati UK team will provide technical support.

To book, speak to Lynn at California Superbike School on 08700 671 061 or email lynnb@superbikeschool.co.uk
