Triumph Motorcycles has announced the arrival of an additional version of its 2025 adventure sport tourer for 2026 - the Triumph Tiger Sport 800 Tour. Building on the success of the Tiger Sport 800, this latest model by adding touring practicality as it bids to take on the already-popular Honda CB1000GT which strutted its way onto the Triumph’s playground just last month. Or Yamaha Tracer 7 GT, BMW F900XR and Ducati Multistrada V2 to name but a few.

The Tiger Sport 800 Tour comes fully equipped for longer journeys with a host of touring features from the Triumph official parts catalogue now fitted as standard. These include a centre stand, heated grips, hand guards, and a dual Comfort Seat. Integrated, colour-matched luggage is also part of the package, featuring a set of panniers and a twin-helmet top box mounted on an aluminium rack with dual backrest pads. Safety and convenience are enhanced by the addition of a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

New Colours

Triumph has introduced two bold new colour schemes for the Tiger Sport 800 Tour. Matt Cobalt offers a contemporary look with deep blue tones accented by Matt Sapphire Black and gold highlights, while Carnival Red delivers a vibrant, high-energy finish paired with black details and gold accents. Both schemes extend to the panniers and top box.

Punchy Performance

At the heart of the Tiger Sport 800 Tour is Triumph’s 800cc triple engine, producing 113bhp at 10,750 rpm and 84 Nm of torque at 8,500 rpm. With 90% of its torque available across the mid-range, riders can expect instant response and smooth power delivery throughout the rev range. Described by our tester, Martin Fitz-Gibbons, as being “supremely versatile – lively and engaging one minute, then civilised and courteous the next”. The triple’s unique character blends the low-down punch of a twin with the high-revving excitement of an inline four. A six-speed gearbox is accompanied by Triumph Shift Assist, aka a quickshifter’.

Assured Handling

The Tiger Sport 800 Tour features a tubular steel perimeter frame, adjustable Showa suspension, and Triumph-branded radial brake calipers to stop the Michelin Road 5 sport-touring tyres and the wet weight of 232 kg including luggage but excluding rider. The company’s Comfort Seat is now fitted as standard as are heated grips, hand guards, and an adjustable windscreen.

Triumph has equipped the Tiger Sport 800 Tour with everything you can find on the Tiger Sport 800 - three selectable riding modes - Sport, Road, and Rain, Optimised Cornering ABS and Traction Control. The My Triumph Connectivity System provides turn-by-turn navigation, phone integration, and music control via Bluetooth, displayed on a LCD/TFT instrument cluster.

An 18.6-litre fuel tank, generous luggage capacity (106 litres), plus “class-leading service intervals” which is backed by a two-year unlimited mileage warranty.
