Electric bikes have yet to become proven sellers in the way many expected which is why, even though many are great bikes, there are still big dealer discounts to be had – as is the case here. Harley-Davidson kicked off electric ‘big bikes’ with its LiveWire but have since split the brand off to launch the more affordable, lightweight and funky S2 model. But it’s not just fringe, niche, premium-priced electric bikes such as the LiveWire which are the recipients of big dealer discounts, already great value, popular, conventional all-round machines can sometimes be, too Leading Chinese brand CFMoto’s range of impressive adventure bikes, over a variety of capacities, have already proved to be Europe wide best sellers for their combination of specification and value but this one’s even better value still. It’s the Explore version of the brand’s hugely popular 800MT adventure twin, is being offered by dealer Destination Motorcycles, is brand new and unregistered and is currently available with a further £4175 off taking it down from the usual £11,870 to now just £7695

Alternatively, if you fancy an iconic, luxury, classic British café racer but have until now been put off their premium prices, there are currently more than a few examples of Norton’s now-deleted 961 Commando available with up to £3500 off as dealers bid to shift unsold stock for the new Nortons currently being built. While, finally for this week, if neither a classic Brit’, bargain-priced Chinese adventure bike or dirt-cheap electric machine whet your whistle, how about this for a brilliant cur price deal on a classic, American-made Indian cruiser? The iconic US brand has proven, since its revival in 2013, to be a brilliant and classy alternative to more mainstream Harley-Davidsons and one of its latest models is the Sport Chief, which, with a sporty stance, small fairing and panniers is Indian’s take on Harley’s Low Rider ST. This example, however, is even better yet. It’s available at dealer RideWorx, is a 0-mile, unregistered example and has just had its price slashed by £3500 so taking it down from the usual £21,995 to now just £18,495

Proof that discounted used bikes can sometimes provide the biggest motorcycling deals of all. Ducati’s stunning Multistrada V4 S remains one of the very best all-rounders of all but currently starts at over £20K. However, used bike specialists Superbike Factory has just slashed nearly £3000 off the price of this low mileage used example which can now be had for just over £14,000. Get this Indian Chief Dark Horse with £1999 off
If you like you motorcycling more ‘laid-back’, US-style cruisers don’t get much more authentic and appealing than Indian’s classic Chief, especially in blacked-out Dark Horse trim. This example is currently being offered by used bike specialists Superbike Factory and has just had its price slashed to barely over £10,000. While, finally for this week, how about this for a bargain, cut-price example of Ducati’s brilliant, ultra-sophisticated, V4-powered performance cruiser, the XDiavel? This 19-plate example of the Italian hot rod is the more desirable, upspecced, ‘S’ version, has covered just 2675 miles so is in excellent unmarked condition and is now being offered by used bike specialists Superbike Factory with a huge discount of £1748 which takes its asking price down from the previous £13,790 to now be up for grabs for just £12,042 –and, again, it even comes with a free, extended 12-month warranty

But if you were starting to think that it’s only slightly left-field, premium-priced, large capacity bikes that benefit from big dealer discounts, here’s the proof otherwise.
