Triumph 2019: New Bonneville T120 Ace & Bonneville T120 Diamond Edition | EICMA show

2019 Triumph Bonneville T120 Ace and T120 Diamond Edition

Triumph has already released its main new machine for 2019 – the Scrambler 1200 – but it’s used the EICMA show in Milan to reveal a couple of new limited-edition Bonneville T120 derivatives that are joining the range.

The T120 Ace and T120 Diamond Edition are both straightforward specials based on the stock T120 Bonneville, with just 1300 Ace models and 800 Diamond Editions slated for production.

The Ace is made in collaboration with the Ace Cafe in London, following on from the Thruxton Ace made in 2015. Compared to the normal T120, the Ace gets matt storm grey paint, Ace Cafe graphics and black mechanical components. It also gets the rear fender removal kit as standard, bullet LED indicators and a black Triumph badge on the tank. Each of the 1300 bikes built will come with a certificate signed by Triumph boss Nick Bloor and Ace Cafe MD Mark Wilsmore.

The Diamond Edition is a reversal of the Ace’s blacked-out look, with white paint and chrome engine covers and tank badges. It features a silver union jack graphic on the tank and retains the stock T120 rear mudguard and indicators. Made to mark the 60th anniversary of the Bonneville, the 800 bikes will each come with a certificate signed by Triumph CEO Nick Bloor.
