Kawasaki’s powerhouse flagship bike, the mighty ZZR1400, gets upgrades to both its standard and Performance Sport models for 2016.

The massive 1,441cc engine kicks out the same 207bhp @ 10,000rpm (with RAM air, 197bhp without) but with revisions to the ECU and exhaust system, the bike now meets Euro 4 emission regulation.

According to Kawasaki’s website, the standard model will be priced at £11,799 which reflects a £100 increase in the 2015 model while the Performance Sport model sees a £700 price decrease down to £13,399.

A new instrument cluster features high-visibility dials and LCD displays using a dot-pattern background, plus black/white interchangeable displays for easy reading in both day and night time.

The model also features an Ohlins TTX39 rear shock absorber with settings unique to the ZZR1400, plus a pair of awesome Akrapovic silencers.
