The Superbike World Championship rolls into Donington this weekend for the sole UK round, and it looks set to be a blinder! The four Brits pictured above, plus Alex Lowes, are sure to put on a show and after dominating the first five rounds, a British victor is all but guaranteed.
Jonathan Rea has won all but two races so far this season and there isn't anything to suggest he'll be slowing down soon. His biggest rival at the Leicestershire circuit could well be teammate Tom Sykes, who has dominated the last two British rounds taking the double in both 2013 and 2014. However, on competitive machinery for the first time since 2012, Leon Haslam could throw in a few surprises if he's not held back by his rib injuries.
Welshman Chaz Davies and Lincoln's Alex Lowes will be looking to bounce back after a difficult round last time out in Imola. Lowes took his debut World Superbike podium last time out at Imola and is known to pull out all the stops for his home crowd (ask Marco Melandri)!
Leading the foreign contingent will be Ducati's Davide Giugliano, who took pole position at Donington this time last year before crashing out in the race. Despite having just returned from injury, the Italian was on good form in Imola and is sure to come out fighting.
