John McGuinness comes down the return road having taken the Senior TT victory in 2015

The wait is almost over; the 2016 Isle of Man TT begins in less than two weeks and here is the full practice and race schedule.

Speed-controlled practice laps for newcomers take place on the evening of Saturday 28th May with the regulars getting their first run out on the Bank Holiday Monday.

A full practice week leads into a jam-packed race week with competitive action starting with the Superbike race on Saturday 4th June.

ITV4 will once again provide an extensive preview and highlights package, for which you can find the schedule here.

We'll be bringing you all the latest news live from the island throughout the festival.

Qualifying Schedule

For qualifying sessions roads close from Barrule Park, Ramsey to the Bungalow at 1645, the Bungalow to Creg-ny-baa at 1700 and the rest of the Course at 1800.

All practices are timed qualifying sessions unless otherwise noted.
