Ryuichi Kiyonari will compete in this year’s star-studded Suzuka 8 hour race alongside Noriyuki Haga in Yukio Kagayama’s Japanese dream team.
There is already a plethora of big names lined-up for this year’s race, including twice MotoGP champion Casey Stoner and current GP stars Bradley Smith and Pol Espargaro.
World Superbike man Alex Lowes will also compete in the prestigious event, alongside Bennetts Suzuki rider Josh Waters.
Now, four-times Suzuka winner and three-times British Champion Kiyonari will also join the line-up as joins fellow Japanese stars Haga and Kagayama on a Dunlop-shod Suzuki GSX-R1000
“We decide last minute but I am very happy to be heading back to Suzuka after a long time!” said Kiyonari speaking to Bike Social. “It will be my first time riding the GSX-R1000 and I am very pleased to be riding with Yukio and Nori.”
