Honda to host interactive ‘LIVEstream’ event for Gold Wing and Africa Twin

Potential Africa Twin and Gold Wing customers won’t need to leave their living rooms to learn all about Honda’s two flagship models live on YouTube

In light of the first half of 2020 offering business challenges never seen before, particularly in the world of buying and selling vehicles, Honda is upping the ante with a brand-new idea, supported by us here at Bennetts BikeSocial.

Instead of waiting for potential customers to walk through the doors of a dealership, the Japanese manufacturer is set to host live streams via their YouTube channel introducing two of their most significant 2020 models; Gold Wing and Africa Twin.

Taking place twice on 19th August at 12noon and 7pm, then again on 20th August at 10am and 2pm, the product expert, Alan Scott, and I will be talking through the benefits of each model including detailing the full range, demonstrating how the rider aids and technology operate, showing how the DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) works on a rolling road and highlighting the benefits of each bike and how they can be enjoyed.

Using a backdrop and set previously seen at the London Motorcycle Show back in February, reconstructed exclusively for this project in a bespoke studio, Honda brings the show to masses with a live presentation including a Q&A session. The aim is to redefine the pleasure of riding over distance with a detailed look at the latest iterations of these two incredibly advanced machines.

21st Century ‘touring’ doesn’t necessarily mean riding around Europe or further afield, more and more riders are enjoying the sights, sounds and smells of what our beautiful country has to offer with Yorkshire, Devon, Scotland, Wales, the Peak District and more. Almost everywhere you turn in the UK, there’s some incredible adventures to be enjoyed. And what better way to create memories than with some hugely accomplished motorcycles fit to cover big miles in comfort and with a range of advanced electronics to boot with navigation, clever suspension, Apple Play and a range of other rider options.
