Milan Motorcycle Show Preview | EICMA 2017

The annual Milan Motorcycle Show, known as EICMA, attracts media and visitors from around the world as every bike and product manufacturer, importer and distributor books their space and shows their forthcoming range.

The most poignant part of the show is the press day where every major manufacturer has a 30 minute slot to wow us with their 2018 bikes – production or concept.

When’s it on?

9th – 12th November

(7th – 8th November for press only)

Tickets are still available at €21.

However, Ducati have a separate press conference on Sunday 5th November while Honda and Yamaha host theirs on Monday 6th November. See the below schedule for more information.

Where is it?

The show takes place at Rho Fiera, Milan - an exhibition centre that dwarfs the NEC.

How can I keep up to date?

Easy, we’ll have the full new bike information right here straight after each press conference.

There’s also our Twitter and Facebook profiles to keep an eye on for regular updates as each bike is unveiled. We’ll also be getting close-up to each new bike too.

What should I look out for?

During each press conference, a senior representative from each manufacturer talks about their latest range of bikes, some of them are live streamed but BikeSocial will be on-site to have a poke around the latest machinery which should all be on show at Motorcycle Live at the NEC from 19-26 November.

Ducati have set the bar high with news of their new V4 sportsbike which should be the headline grabber, while we’ve already seen and ridden the Monster 821 although Kawasaki have been teasing us with what looks to be a supercharged touring bike although we know they have a Ninja 400. Honda and Yamaha have unveiled a selection at the recent Tokyo Motor Show including the Neo Sports Café Concept, Gold Wing and Niken, respectively. Suzuki have already talked about their SV650X while Triumph have already unveiled the Speedmaster and Bobber Black while a couple of Tigers look likely to have their covers whipped off.
