Guy Martin pulls out of Aragon endurance race after becoming a dad

Guy Martin has pulled out of the Aragon Endurance Classic race this weekend following the birth of his daughter Dottie on Monday night. BikeSocial sends heartfelt congratulations to Guy and girlfriend Sharon and a warm welcome to Grimsby for baby Dot.

Guy was due to race the Suzuki Classic Parts Katana in the Aragon race with Pete Boast and Michael Neeves, but is doing what any good dad should and staying at home to be with the family.

Back in July, Guy spoke to the Grimsby Telegraph about becoming a father. “So long as she’s a better welder than me, I’ll be happy, ” he said.

Who wouldn’t agree with that?
