Quarter-size Ducati 1299 anyone?


Can’t afford a full-size Ducati Panigale 1299 S for the New Year? Us neither, not even a slightly less expensive Ducati 959 for that matter. But, we might just be able to stretch to a new 1:4 version launched by Ducati and renowned model builder Pocher. Maybe.

The new 1299S model is made from die-cast metal, plastic and rubber and looks like it goes into incredible detail of the 205bhp superbike.

Once you’ve got your head round the 1055 parts to put it together the bike measures 518.7 x 202.5 x 277.5 mm and weighs 5 kilograms.

As good as a full-size Ducati. Almost.


This new Pocher model will be on sale in specialised stores from January in Europe. The model can also be purchased on the www.pocher.com website and at Ducati dealerships. No prices are yet available, but the Lamborghini 1:8 size models on the Pocher site cost between £450 to give you an idea, or the price of a service and a new set of tyres for a full-size motorcycle. Or a cheap HondaC90, or a new lid, or...
