What do British Superbike racers get up to when not racing 200bhp+ superbikes at the UK’s best race tracks?

It might surprise you, but most of them go to work! Some of them do it because they have to, racing in this day and age doesn’t pay all too great and some BSB stars will even be paying for their rides.

Others however, work for the fun of it. Bennetts-backed Christian Iddon is a factory BMW BSB rider, we couldn’t tell you what he earns racing but we’d hazard a guess that it’s enough to see him by for the year, but Monday-Friday when he’s not racing he’s on a building site putting in some hard graft.

We headed over to Iddon’s Derbyshire home to find out why and what he gets up to when he’s not racing.
