Proof that it’s not just obscure or unpopular bikes that are sometimes subject to big dealer discounts. Yamaha’s Tracer 9 sports-tourer has been one of motorcycling’s success stories of the past decade with the brilliant all-rounder regularly topping the sales charts. The latest examples, however, the GT and GT+, are higher tech and premium priced than ever, though which has prompted some dealer price cutting – as is the case here. Yamaha dealers Tinklers, for example, are currently offering this brand-new black example of the GT model with a whopping £4959 discount, so taking it down now to just £13,495

Get £3800 off this Kawasaki Z H2
Kawasaki’s stupendous supercharged trio, which comprises the Ninja H2 sportster, Ninja H2 SX sports tourer and super-naked Z H2, not only have astonishing 200bhp+ supercharged powerplants but usually the £20,000+ price tags to match – except here. Historic Chester dealer Bill Smith Motors is currently offering this brand new, unregistered, 0-mile example of the standard Z H2 roadster (as opposed to the upspecced SE version) with an equally monster dealer discount of £3800. Speaking of motorcycling ‘beasts’, BMW’s recent series of ‘M’ bikes, which includes the M1000RR superbikes, M1000R super naked and M1000XR adventure sports, are all billed as the most extreme performance versions of the standard S-series machines. But they also usually have the near-£30K prices to match – except here. Dealer Lind motorcycles of Welwyn Garden City is currently offering this brand new, 0-mile, unregistered example of the XR version, which is a brilliant potent yet versatile all-rounder, with a discount of £2870. That takes the BMW’s asking price down from the usual £28,710 to a now far more affordable £25,840

Get £1000 dealer contribution on selected new Suzukis
Suzuki has dropped the prices of a number of key models in its range, via a healthy dealer contribution. Suzuki dealers will be offering a £1,000 deposit contribution on the GSX-S1000GT+ sports tourer, and the GSX-8T and GSX-8TT modern retros. There will also be a £300 contribution from authorised Suzuki retailers on the GSX-8S middleweight naked. As a result, the £1,000 contribution reduces the OTR price of the GSX-S1000GT+ – complete with its standard-fit 36-litre panniers – to just £11,999. The 8TT drops to £8,999, and the 8TT to £8,599. The £300 contribution to the 8S makes it £7,999 OTR with the new OTR prices are available to both finance and cash buyers.

Save £1698 on this Ducati Desert X
Adventure and retro bikes remain two of the most popular motorcycle classes of all so why not combine them both with Ducati’s brilliant Desert X? The retro-influenced V-twin has proven a big hit for its style and versatility since its launch and used bike specialists Superbike Factory has just slashed the price of this low mileage used example to make it even more tempting. While, finally for this week, if neither a classic Brit’, bargain-priced Chinese adventure bike or dirt-cheap electric machine whet your whistle, how about this for a brilliant cur price deal on a classic, American-made Indian cruiser? The iconic US brand has proven, since its revival in 2013, to be a brilliant and classy alternative to more mainstream Harley-Davidsons and one of its latest models is the Sport Chief, which, with a sporty stance, small fairing and panniers is Indian’s take on Harley’s Low Rider ST.
