With Zero’s switch to smaller bikes and Honda’s launch of its all new, £13K WN7, its first full-sized electric machine we’re seeing big dealer discounts on unsold, pricier electric machines – and none bigger than that here. It’s a brand new, unregistered, 0-mile example of Zeros’ former range-topping electric model, the DSR/X, and is being offered by electric bike specialists, the English Electric Motor co. in Diss, Norfolk. If electric bikes still aren’t tempting enough there are plenty of big dealer discounts to be found at this time of year on conventional but premium Italian exotica, too – and they don’t get much bigger or more premium than this. If an electric bike or sporty MV is still too niche for you they don’t get more versatile yet still hugely alluring than Ducati’s superb Multistrada V4 Rally which adds off-road ability to its already astonishing performance and practicality, even if it is, at well over £25K, a bit pricey – except here.
