The Magnificent 10 biking deals of the week
What are the best motorcycle and kit deals and discounts available right now?
Continuing our regular weekly guides to current biking offers and bargains, we’ve been scouring the marketplace – so you don’t have to! And, we’re adding USED bikes, too!
Save £4780 on a Harley Davidson Pan America 1250 S
Who said brand new, big, fully loaded adventure bikes have to cost big money? It might not be the most familiar brand, but Harley-Davidson’s new Pan America 1250 is right up there with the best and this example, being discounted by Sycamore Harley in Wolverhampton, is something of a steal. It’s the top spec ‘S’ version with wire wheels and adaptive ride height, has 150bhp, all the comfort and goodies you could want and, although pre-registered, is effectively brand new. Best of all, with whopping £4780, it now costs just £13,990, which is £1000s less than an equivalent BMW or KTM.

Save £3405 on this Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello PFF
Here’s another huge dealer discount on a brand-new example of one of the best bikes in its class. Moto Guzzi’s all-new V100 Mandello is a brilliant sports tourer with 113bhp performance, bags of Italian style and character plus more practicality and class than most bikes we could mention. While the top spec ‘PFF’ version adds active aero and electronic suspension to its already impressive specification. Normally £15,900, dealer InMoto is currently offering this brand new, 0-mile, unregistered example with a full £3405 off, taking its asking price down now to just £12,495.

Get £2800 off this Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS
When motorcycle models get updated or superseded by improved versions it’s not uncommon for dealers to offer great discounted deals on unsold stock to make way for the new – as is the case here. Triumph’s top-spec Speed Triple 1200 RS is about to be replaced by a slightly more powerful, uprated 2025 version which is why dealer Triumph World is currently offering a full £2800 off this unsold, brand new 2024 version. That discount takes it down to just £12,999 which, when you consider the new 2025 version costs £17,495 should make it very tempting indeed.

Get £2000 off a Ducati DesertX
While finally for this week, a bike that’s so stylish, practical yet exotic that you don’t often see any dealer discounts – except here. Ducati’s DesertX was launched in 2022 as an off-road capable adventure bike with semi-retro styling and genuinely impressive all-round ability. Powered by the Italian firm’s familiar 937cc 113bhp V-twin it’s proved a big hit, too, so much so that a series of spin-offs, including a Rally version, have followed since. But this brand new example, being offered by Hyside motorcycles, is also something of a steal, as its £2000 discount takes its price down from the usual £18,995 to now just £16,995.

We have teamed up with Phoenix Motorcycle Training to bring BikeSocial members some exclusive discounts on the firm’s extensive range of training courses. So how does saving £20 on a Machine Control Day course sound?
Phoenix Motorcycle Training’s Machine Control Day course aims to give riders greater confidence when it comes to manual handling and controlling their bike. While we all like to feel we have this mastered, there are lots of techniques that the instructors can teach you that will make a huge difference to your confidence while out and about on, or even just moving around, your bike.
Taking place at a variety of locations around the UK and lasting about seven hours, the Machine Control Day starts with manual handling of your bike and includes things such as moving a stationary bike and turning it. This mastered, you will progress to slow riding techniques (figure of eight, slalom etc) and then the principles and practice of counter steering before a break for lunch.
The first part of the afternoon session is spent polishing up on your precision riding and balance before an assessed road ride with one of Phoenix Motorcycle Training’s PROskills coaches with both verbal and video feedback afterwards and a CPD certificate of attendance. It’s a full day of training and at just £129 for BikeSocial members is incredible value for money.
Usually costing £149, BikeSocial members can get a £20 discount on a Machine Control Day course using our exclusive code, reducing it to just £129. You can book online at https://phoenixmotorcycletraining.co.uk/
