Ducati scores triple podium

Carlos Checa continued his winning streak with a fifth victory at Salt Lake City today. The Spaniard stalked his way to the front of the field, passing early leader Troy Corser, while an unlucky Max Biaggi crashed out in the opening lap. Smrz charged his way up the order to snatch second place finish, while Guintoli took the third step of the podium.

Checa furthers his lead with a double win

Leaving little room to be challenged, Carlos Checa has achieved is second podium finish at Salt Lake City today. British rider Leon Camier clinched second place, while Italian rider Max Biaggi took third.
