Positive result for Pedrosa

Posted: 02 May 2011

Despite a relatively recent shoulder operation, Dani Pedrosa has clinched his first MotoGP victory for 2011 after a successful pass on reigning World Champion Jorge Lorenzo at Estoril, Portugal.

Although Lorenzo had pole position, Pedrosa was able to capitalise on his second place position – eventually passing Lorenzo on the home straight with just four laps of the race remaining.
