Posted: 05 Apr 2013

Bathams Honda rider, Michael Rutter was delayed on the M25 last night after his motorhome decided to break down at the side of the road. He’s no doubt hoping that his luck will improve for this the BSB season opener this weekend at Brands Hatch…

He has now arrived safely at the track and is putting all of his efforts into recuperating to ensure that his broken leg is in the best condition it can be this weekend.

Michael suffered a broken tibia three weeks ago during a pre-season test for the Honda TT Legends’ team over in France. After a trip to a specialist back in the UK, Rutter was told that it was an ‘uncomplicated’ fracture which means is should heal quickly, meaning he should be fit enough to race this weekend.

However, it won’t be until Friday’s free practice session that he will know for sure, we’ve all got our fingers crossed for him...
