Honda has chosen the Paris Motor Show to unveil its brand new 125cc twist and go scooter ready for 2015 and called ‘Forza 125’ which comes with Stop/Start technology.

The new Forza 125 uses a brand new engine which 4-stroke, 4-valve, liquid-cooled which provides 14bhp @ 8,750rpm and Honda claim a fuel economy of approximately 123mpg courtesy of its Idling Stop function. After three seconds of being stationary and with a brake applied, the engine will cut out, until the throttle is twisted once again.

The new 125cc from Honda is all set to challenge its own stable-mate, the impressive Honda PCX125, which is the best-selling scooter in the UK this year with over 1,200 registrations up to the end of August.

As with many other new powered two-wheelers announced over the past 24 hours, the Honda Forza 125 also comes with goodies; ABS as standard, height adjustable screen, storage space of 48 litres (enough for two full-faces helmets) plus a 12V power socket in the glove box and LED head and taillight.

Accessories include heated grips and a 35 litre colour-matched top box. Three colour options are, in plain old English:

  • White
  • Black
  • Silver

But in Honda press release language that equate to:

  • Matt Pearl Cool White with Matt Pacific Blue
  • Pearl Nightstar Black with Castagna Brown
  • Moondust Silver with Matt Cynos Grey

Black with Brown; stealth-likeSilver and grey as your third and final colour option

Mr. Nagura, Large Project Leader Forza 125, said: The team’s aim with the Forza 125 was to make the ultimate 125cc scooter, with the very best of everything. It offers both great highway performance for a fun, easy commute, and class-leading acceleration for the city. All with classy, premium styling, and a very strong focus on practicality and comfort.
