Bike Social's Marc Potter looks quite pleased with himself, no surprise, as he has new Alpinestars leathers and a Ducati Monster 1200S to play on this year.
Bike Social is delighted to say that we’ve managed to get our hands on a Ducati Monster 1200S to run as part of Bike Social’s test fleet through the year.

You’ll see regular updates on Bike Social about how we’re getting on with the bike, and you’ll be able to see it at events across the UK. The Monster adds to the Bike Social fleet which also includes our carbon-fibre Yamaha R1.

The 145bhp Monster 1200S is a new for 2014 model and features a punchy V-twin engine putting out 91.8ft-lb of torque, traction control, ABS, plus fully adjustable Ohlins front and rear suspension. It costs £12,995.

Bike Social’s Marc Potter said: “With growing interest in naked bikes in the UK, we’re delighted to have a Monster 1200S on our fleet. The bike is the perfect blend of aggressive styling blended with the traditional Ducati Monster look. It also has the latest gadgets including traction control and ABS, and we intend to make use of those 145 horses at a few track days this year, as well as more general commuting and a few trips away with the boys."

Potter continued: "We’ll be at a Ducati track day on May 27 at Donington Park for a start and will be doing regular updates on Bike Social and the Bennetts Twitter feed.”

The Bike Social team including Michael Mann, Paul Taylor, Potter and the Ducati, will be at events all over the year. If you see us, come and say hello. We may even have some Bike Social goodies to hand out!

Thanks to Ducati UK for the Monster 1200S and Alpinestars for kitting us out with leathers.
