On Wednesday at 2pm (BST) you can bid to win the very Dainese D-air race suit as worn by MotoGP superstar Valentino Rossi during his 300th Grand Prix at Mugello earlier this month when 'The Doctor' finished in 3rd place.
The auction has been set up by Dainese and the 9-time World Champion to raise funds for the Simoncelli Foundation in support of the Santa Marta Day Centre for the disabled at Coriano which was set-up in memory of Marco Simoncelli, Valentino’s friend who was tragically killed during the Malaysian Grand Prix in 2011.
Each week, beginning this Wednesday, an item worn and signed by a Dainese rider will be put up for auction with all proceeds being donated to the Foundation, and what better way to start than Rossi’s Mugello race suit with #thisforSIC58 embroidered across the rear.
As well as Mr. Rossi, Dainese’s motorcycling athletes are:
NICKY HAYDEN
STEFAN BRADL
ANDREA IANNONE
POL ESPARGARO
LUIS SALOM
SANDRO CORTESE
FRANCO MORBIDELLI
ROMANO FENATI
FRANCESCO BAGNAIA
NICCOLO ANTONELLI
VINCENT PHILIPPE

You even get a nice display case for your new purchase. #lessdusting
