James Bond 'Skyfall' uses 20 bikes in opening scene!

Posted: 22 Oct 2012

With only a few days until the new James Bond movie hits UK screens, we thought we'd take a closer look at the bike.

Honda UK supplied twenty (yes, 20!) Honda CRF250R's for the opening scene of ‘Skyfall’ – two of which have now been added to the Bond In Motion exhibition at the National Motor Museum in Beaulieu.

At £6290 a bike that's £125,000 of little 250s used in the opening scene alone! We hope it's worth it. Although we're sure that following the success of the movie Honda will sell-out of the bikes just as Barbour have of the jacket used in the new Bond movie.

Our mates at Barbour tell us the jacket Daniel Craig wears in the movie is sold-out and they're having to make more!
