Honda set to open fourty rider training schools this year.
Honda is backing learner riders by planning to open 40 ‘Honda School of Motorcycling’ rider trainer centres in the UK in the next two years.

The news comes as Honda open the doors to their first four centres in the South of England this month, with many more to follow across their dealerships in the UK.

The new Honda School of Motorcycling centres are approved by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Authority (DVSA) and can train riders from CBT up to advanced refresher training using Honda motorcycles less than twelve months old.

The first four centres are at the following Honda dealers:

- 21st Moto - Swanley, Kent

- Belle Vue Motorcycles - Southend-on-Sea, Essex

- P&H Motorcycles - Crawley, West Sussex

- Doble Motorcycles - Coulsdon, Surrey

Honda spokesman Simon Herbert said: "We want to make training an easy and enjoyable experience and part of the journey towards getting on, getting back on or stepping up."

Figures reveal a total of 1.2 million active riders yet five million licence holders in the UK; pointing to nearly four million lapsed riders.
