An incredible 76,000 people and 32,000 bikes braved the sunshine to hang-out at the popular Bike1066 event in Hastings on Bank Holiday Monday, according to Police estimates.
The event saw thousands of people head home with a Bennetts goodie bag and a picture taken by their mates of the Bennetts Babes.
It was the first proper public launch for Bike Social, and also the first time the Bennetts bike Scalextric was rolled out for people to race each other.
Howard Martin, event organiser, said, “Hasting’s May Day is now bigger than the Isle of Man TT in terms of attendance, it’s a phenomenal town that welcomes all motorcycle enthusiasts. We thank Bennetts for their support and look forward to welcoming even more bikers in 2014.”
We thought you’d like to see a few pictures of the event. There are even more on the Bennetts Facebook page.
Don’t forget that Bennetts and Bike Social will be at a host of events across the UK this summer as part of Bennetts Live, so come and say hello. You can race your mates on the four-lane bike Scalextric and grab a goodie bag!
We’ll be at Donington Park World Superbikes on May 26, so see you then.
