New sporty scooter from Honda

On paper, the new sporty 49cc Honda NSC50R scooter looks to be an instant hit, it offers a sporty look and attitude in an affordable and highly efficient package. It has an air-cooled engine with claimed class-leading environmental performance, twist and go usability and great fuel economy at around 31 miles per litre of fuel.

The fuel tank has a 5.5-litre capacity and storage is built-in with a large, lockable under seat compartment that will hold a full face helmet. Confident handling comes from a strong, steel frame and the 14-inch tyres provide stability. An extra layer of safety is added by Honda’s CBS (Combined Braking System), linking the front hydraulic disc brake to the drum rear.
