Sometimes the biggest dealer discounts of all can be found on the biggest, most expensive bikes of all, as is the case here, as their high-ticket prices give more ‘wiggle room’ for dealers keen to shift unsold stock. In this case, dealer the Motorcycle Centre Orrell (MCO) is ending its connection with US brand Indian so is keen to shift unsold stock and its biggest is this brand new, unregistered example of the Pursuit full-dress tourer. Get £3704 off this KTM 1290 Super Adventure R
Another common reason for perfectly good bikes receiving big dealer discounts is when certain models get superseded by a new variant – as is the case here. KTM’s 1290 Super Adventure R was already probably the best, dirt-biased litre-class adventure bike available, but with a new 1390 version now launched dealers are naturally keen to shift unsold old models. Dealer InMoto, for example, is currently offering this brand new, 0-mile, unregistered example with a huge discount of £4204 so taking its asking price down from the usual £18,199 to now be available for a bargain £13,995.

Get £2150 off this Harley-Davidson Sportster S
Here’s proof that it’s not always big, luxurious bikes that can be found with big dealer discounts. Harley’s reinvented 1250 Sportster remains the ‘entry-level’ model into the American legend’s range but is also adjudged by some to be a bit on the pricey side, leading to some discounts – as is the case here. Save £1600 on this Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE

While, finally for this week, another great bike that falls under the KTM umbrella, but this time from sister brand Husqvarna, that is also currently benefitting from a huge dealer discount. The Husqvarna Norden 901 is effectively a restyled version of KTM’s 890 Adventure middleweight adventure bike, and as such one of the best offerings in the class. Yorkshire dealer Appleyard Motorcycles, however, have one, unsold, brand new 2023 example available and, as it was mildly updated last year have slashed the price in a bid to move it on. Originally £12,349, the dealer has slashed the price down to just £9399 – a saving of a full £2950.
