Spot the difference: Laverty's WSBK version is on the right

Suzuki have today unveiled a limited edition version of their flagship superbike, the GSX-R1000. Just 25 replica bikes based on the current Voltcom Crescent Suzuki World Superbike contenders will be available at £10,999 while the current £1,000 off campaign is applicable.

The two Voltcom Crescent Suzuki machines piloted by 28-year old Northern Irishman, Eugene Laverty, and reigning British Superbike Champion, 23-year old Alex Lowes, are currently sitting in 9th and 11th place respectively in this years World Superbike Championship. The next round takes place at Jerez on 7th September, so there's plenty of time to get your order placed.

For the extra £1,000 above the price of the standard GSX-R1000, you get a replica paint scheme, Yoshimura R77 exhaust, GB Racing engine covers, and single seat cowl signed by both riders.

Yoshimura exhaust and WSBK-spec paint scheme among the upgrades

Suzuki GB Marketing Manager, Rob Cooper, said, "Following the popularity of the Tyco Suzuki replica GSX-R600 released earlier this summer, we're delighted to follow it up with a Voltcom Crescent Suzuki edition GSX-R1000. In the UK we're in a great position, where we have a British-based team with homegrown riders competing on the world stage, so it's an excellent opportunity to show support your support."
