Stuck for some last minute present ideas? Here’s some of what the leading motorcycle manufacturers have to offer…
Fancy a natty towelling, Triumph-logo-ed bathrobe/dressing gown for Christmas? Then how’s this? The Hinckley-based British firm hasn’t just been busy with its bikes recently, unveiling not just an all-new Bonneville range plus updated Speed Triples and Tiger Explorer, its accessory and gifts range is bigger than ever, too. Apart from loads of riding gear and leisure wear there’s Christmas giftware including not just the likes of this £59 robe but also ladies scarves (£40), mug and keyring gift sets (£30) and more.
Any space left on your tree for some special motorcycling baubles? How about these: four special, Kawasaki balls, made of foam with a plastic coating for just £13.95. They’re just one of an extensive range of official Kawasaki Christmas gifts including clothing, leisure wear and more – they’ve even got a choice of summer, Kawasaki-branded flip-flops on offer, starting at just £10.95 – so there should be something for everyone (as long as they like Kawasakis).

Suzuki ‘Russian hat’
Perhaps not the usual kind of hat you’d associate with Suzuki ownership but we couldn’t resist – besides, Suzuki offers loads of more conventional caps and beanies as well. One size fits all, it’s 100% Polyamide with a filling of 100% polyester and artificial fur and is just £16. And if that doesn’t tickle your fancy (although it should your ears), Suzuki also have tons of T-shirts, mugs, kit bags, giftware and more – we even spotted a Suzuki logo-shaped cookie cutter set.

Most of the leading manufacturers offer branded watches but we picked out this one: it’s their Factory Racing watch made by TW Steel and features a genuine carbon case, Miyota 2115 3-hand movement, reinforced mineral crystal, silicon strap, is water resistant and comes in a variety of colours and is available in 40mm and 45mm sizes all for £100. And if that’s out of your budget, there’s loads of others to choose from, too.
The Austrian firm are reknown for its wild, adrenalin-packed bikes both off-road and on and its extensive range of leisure wear and accessories is just as wacky – as demonstrated by this KTM branded two slice toaster which uses a UK-style three-pin plug and even leaves a KTM logo on your toast! Not bad for £39.95. The firm also offers masses of other clothing items and gifts to suit most budgets, although most, inevitably, are orange!

Harley-Davidson Christmas stocking
American firm is the recognized king when it comes to offering branded gifts or leisurewear to such an extent that virtually everything you can think of is available with H-D’s Bar and Shield, should you want one. So, how about this Harley Christmas stocking? It’s 100% polyester with faux white fur trim and an embroidered logo and is black due to the all-over tyre tread pattern and texture. Price: £20.
If your taste is more Italian than American the historic Bologna company is reknown for, not just offering a huge range of performance accessories and goodies for your bike, but also an extensive choice of leisure and lifestyle clothing and accessories, ranging from bikinis to branded sweaters and hoodies, to mugs, keyrings, posters, kids toys and more. Forced to pick one we went for this ‘Historical’ beige mug. Classy, useful and decent value at £8.50.

Fancy one of the new Norton Commando 961s but can’t quite stretch to the real thing at £14K+? Handily, the revived, Donington-based concern is pretty switched on when it comes to branded clothing, accessories and gifts as well, offering team clothing, leisurewear and executive style goodies as well such as branded mugs, keyrings and umbrellas. This 1:18 scale model of the 961 SE is a faithful replica of the air-cooled twin and costs £19.99.
Honda vintage T-shirt
Honda would probably be the first to admit it can’t match Harley or Ducati when it comes to the sheer quantity and variety of accessories, leisure and giftware it offers, but you may still be surprised by the choice of team replica or vintage style clothing available. This one’s typical: being in 100% cotton, screen-printed with vintage logos and featuring Honda labeling and taping, it costs £19.99.

Indian Motorcycles tent
It’s a little mischievous of us to pick out this tent from Indian, but it does demonstrate how extensive and varied the revived American firm’s accessories, leisurewear and giftware offerings have become in such a short period since being acquired by Polaris in 2011. It’s a quality item, too, albeit over £500. More typically Indian have a huge range of mouth-watering T-shirts, clothing and all-manner of gifts.
