1. BSB tickets: Snetterton 8-10 July
Race day: £33 (adult), £25 (Senior Citizens), Free (under 13)
After a break for the Isle of Man TT, the British Superbike Championship returns to Knockhill, Scotland from 24-26 June for Round 4 while Round 5 takes place two weeks later on the 300 circuit at Snetterton in Norfolk. Only 7 points separate the top three in the championship who are the Kawasaki of Leon Haslam, Shane Byrne on his Ducati and the BMW of Christian Iddon.
Can’t make it to Snetterton? There are 7 more rounds this season at the likes of Brands Hatch, Cadwell Park and Silverstone.
2. Goodwood Festival of Speed tickets: 23-26 June
From £16 (13-21) or £32 (adult)
The incredible 4 day event sees a host of cars and bikes from road and track and from yesteryear to modern day often driven and ridden by recognisable faces. There’s a whole host of displays, exhibits and entertainment to keep you occupied.
Bike Social’s Marc Potter will be running a very special BSB-spec Honda Fireblade up the hill each day, give him a wave and he’ll give you a burnout!
Tickets are capped at 150,000 over the weekend meaning that at the time of writing, Saturday and Sunday are sold out but there is availability for Thursday and Friday. Under 13’s are free but there’s always the Goodwood Revival from 9 - 11 September.
3. Drift Stealth 2 Camera
This palm-sized, 97g camera can be attached to pretty much any flat surface on a bike or rider to record those epic moments on track, a stunning road or simply on the commute to the office. The camera offers 3 hours of recording time at 1080p, a 300 degree lens and wifi connectivity. It’s a competitive market with Go Pro and Garmin among Drift’s competitors but we’ve been using the Stealth 2 to good effect for well over a year now as our preferred action camera.

Nothing says ‘I love you Dad’ like a can of lube. But trust us if he’s a man who wants/needs/ought to look after his motorcycle chain then he’ll be in your debt for this all-weather lubricant.

6. Classic TT 2015 Ferry Crossing: August Bank Holiday
The race weekend of the Manx GP and Bennetts Classic TT takes place from 27th-29stAugust, bank holiday weekend. Get yourself over to the Isle of Man and enjoy the festivities. Racing takes place on Saturday and Monday with the Festival of Jurby on Sunday with many of the famous TT riders taking place.
The above price is based on 5-day return crossing for one passenger with a motorcycle from Liverpool to Douglas.
7. Auritech Custom Fit Hearing Protection
OK the standard universal fit protectors are available for £19.95 but for the real McCoy treat your old man to some custom fit protectors to remove wind noise but still allow the rumble of a V-Twin or police sirens to be heard. Once a mould/impression is made of the ear canal, the protectors will arrive within three weeks.
8. Track Day
If he’s never ridden on a circuit then treat him to a Novice-only day. MSV, Focused Events, No Limits and Silverstone are the main players and have access to circuits throughout the country. Hire bikes and professional instructors are also on hand. Then again, there are plenty of other track-based opportunities for the more experienced.

What better time or place for today’s British superstars Cal Crutchlow, Bradley Smith and Scott Redding to challenge the likes of Marquez, Rossi and Lorenzo for the top step of the podium.
Day tickets start at £20 per adult (Friday) and £49.95 per adult (Sunday). Under 10s go free. Bike parking is free.
