After a 7 week break, the British Superbike Championship is back. Round 4 takes place this weekend on the 300 circuit at Snetterton in Norfolk with only 15 points separating the top three in the championship who are the Kawasaki’s of James Ellison and Shane Byrne plus the Yamaha of Josh Brookes. 

Can’t make this weekend? There are 8 more rounds this season at the likes of Brands Hatch, Cadwell Park and Silverstone.

2.  Goodwood Festival of Speed tickets: 25-28 June

From £15 (13-21) or £30 (adult)

The incredible 4 day event sees a host of cars and bikes from road and track and from yesteryear to modern day often driven and ridden by recognisable faces. There’s a whole host of displays, exhibits and entertainment to keep you occupied.

Tickets are capped at 150,000 over the weekend meaning that at the time of writing, Saturday and Sunday are sold out. Under 13’s are free but there’s always the Goodwood Revival from 11-13 September.

6.  Classic TT 2015 Ferry Crossing: August Bank Holiday

The race weekend of the Manx GP and Classic TT takes place from 29th-31st August, bank holiday weekend. Get yourself over to the Isle of Man and enjoy the festivities. Racing takes place on Saturday and Monday with the Festival of Jurby on Sunday with many of the famous TT riders taking place.

8.  Track Day

If he’s never ridden on a circuit then treat him to a Novice-only day. MSV, Focused Events and No Limits are the main players and have access to circuits throughout the country. Hire bikes and professional instructors are also on hand. Then again, there are plenty of other track-based opportunities for the more experienced.
