Manchester Bike Show

This show is in its seventh year and with over 100 trade exhibitors and 750 motorcycles on show, it really is one not to miss. The latest models, restored classics, dirt bikes, tourers and out and out race machines ensures there’s something for everyone. Free on-site parking.

The South of England Classic Motorcycle Show and Autojumble

March 25

Ardingly, West Sussex

For 2018 this show is celebrating over 100 years of Norton with the Brooklands Museum bringing along some of their rare and unusual Nortons. There are also five indoor halls of motorcycles and bikejumble, club stands and hundreds of machines on display. Free Parking.

National Hill Climb at Hartland Quay

There are three main classes of bikes. Firstly the motocrossers-the most competitive machines. Then there are the specials-all sorts of beautifully put together purpose built machines. The vintage/classic bikes are great to listen to, and the road legal machines are the cheapest to put on the Hill.

Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity Easter Egg Run

April 1
Starting at Greendyke Street, Glasgow Green

A run to the Royal Hospital for Children to say hello to and put a smile on the faces of the young patients. For those not riding they’ll be entertainment, stalls, games and family fun at the hospital from 11am. 



Ben’s Ride Part Deux – The Sequel

April 1

Old Rose and Crown, Stourport on Severn, Worcestershire

A ride out to help raise funds to build a centre for young adults with learning disabilities. Music festival, butties, cakes and a BBQ too.

Woolpack Inn, Church Street, Coggleshall, Colchester

A run in aid of injured veterans, with Bikers Respect All Veterans Equally (BRAVE). Meet from 11am, start at 1pm. Loos, brews and social stuff just two minutes-walk from the start. The route is around 55 miles long and is scenic and fun. Food and drink available at the end of the run and camping too if you want to make a night of it. £10 suggested start fee.

Bike4Life Ride Out and Festival with Carl Fogarty

April 22

RAF Museum, Cosford, Shropshire

Starts at Meole Brace, Shrewsbury. The Midlands Air Ambulance Charity’s Bike4Life Ride Out and Festival is one of the biggest biker events in the country, attracting over 12,000 bikers. This year the ride out is led by Carl Fogarty. Slowly hopefully!


The World’s Largest Unofficial St Georges Day Parade

April 22

Meet at Norcutts in Shirley, West Midlands at 6pm and riding to Henley-in-Harden

With proceeds going to Midland Freewheelers Blood Bikes, this parade welcomes bikes, trikes, scooters, cars, trucks and campers. Fully marshalled.

The Thailand round of WSB launched in 2015 and has since become a firm favourite with both fans and riders - a great excuse to fly off to South Asia. Will Jonathan Rea walk it again?

Bennetts British Superbikes – Round 1

We can’t think of a much better way to spend Easter weekend than this. Stock up on the chocolate and head to Donnington for round one of the finest national road racing championships in the world. It’s fast and hair raising. Shakey Byrne continues to dominate. But will a young gun outride him this year? Let the excitement begin.
