Bennetts to Become Thundersprint Title Sponsor For the Next Three Years

Following their highly successful participation in Thundersprint 2011 Bennetts, the UK's No.1 bike specialist, have committed to a long term relationship as title sponsor of the world’s only “Grand Prix in a Car Park.”

Bennetts Associate Director Hannah Squirrell said: “We were delighted with the precedent set by the 2011 Thundersprint, which was a great success. 

“As such, we had no hesitation in committing to a longer term agreement and will be working hard with Frank and the team to make The Thundersprint even bigger and better than before.”

Thundersprint organiser Frank Melling was delighted with the agreement. Frank said: “We are very, very happy to be associated with Bennetts as a brand – and a company. This year, there was nothing too much trouble for Bennetts’ staff and the energy, commitment and sheer sense of pleasure with being at the Thundersprint was a key factor for us in concluding this agreement.

“Everyone, from the Bennetts Babes to Moto 2 star, and Bennetts sponsored, Scott Redding, was fully involved in every aspect of the Thundersprint and brought a real sense of fun and participation which reflects the ethos of the Thundersprint.

“We are already working hard on next year’s Thundersprint which, with Bennetts’ help, we can guarantee will be the best ever.”
