Ever wondered what it takes to lap Phillip Island at near lap record pace on a factory World Superbike CBR1000RR?

Wonder no more because Pata Honda have released this on-board video of Jonathan Rea as he practices for this weekend’s Phillip Island WSB opening race, and talks his way round the lap.

The acceleration is incredible, the lean angles terrifying, and the commitment defies belief. We never expected anything but that to be honest, but it’s still incredible to watch. Respect to Jonathan Rea.
