Cluzel signs for FIXI Crescent Suzuki team

Jules CluzelFIXI Crescent Suzuki have signed Frenchman Jules Cluzel to partner Brit Leon Camier in WSBK next year.

The 24-year-old joins the British team following a succcesful campaign in World Supersport where he took eight podiums and won the last race at Magny-Cours. He has also been a former 250GP and Moto2 winner.

Cluzel said: “I am really excited to be joining the FIXI Crescent Suzuki team. It is a big step in my career, but one that I am very happy to take. When I was given the option to work with Suzuki in World Superbikes, I did not need to think about it twice and I just said a big ‘Yes!’

The Frenchman will get his first taste of the Yoshimura-powered Suzuki GSX-R1000 at a Spanish test in January.
