Jack Miller has spent the afternoon familiarising himself with a 230bhp MotoGP bike after making the jump straight up from the Moto3 class.

Miller, who missed out on the Moto3 championship to Alex Marquez on Sunday, was one of the first riders to leave pit lane aboard his Honda RCV1000R production racer, which has almost 170bhp more than his KTM Moto3 bike.

The Aussie’s fastest lap so far has been a 1’34.633, placing him 23rd on the time sheets.
