Suzuki’s MotoGP project

Suzuki has launched an online video documentary series giving an insight into the development behind their MotoGP programme. The four-part series covers some of the first ever tests for the new GSV-R machine, starting at Suzuki’s development base in Ryuyo Japan with test rider Nobu Aoki.

The series moves on to tests in Motegi, where Randy de Puniet joins the team as a test rider alongside former-Yamaha boss DavideBrivio who is heading the 2015 Suzuki MotoGP effort. The third episode of the series covers the new bike’s European debut and first time on-track with future competitors at Catalunya.

The final episode gives fans a real treat showing the conclusion of Suzuki’s 2013 testing programme followed by a visit inside Suzuki’s MotoGP design and test facility in Japan.

While the Japanese manufacturer isn’t returning to the grid until 2015, it’s widely expected that there are to be wildcard entries for 2014 as Randy de Puniet heads up a full-time testing programme for the team.
