Vinales quits Moto3

Hotshot Moto3 championship contender Maverick Vinales shocked the MotoGP paddock this morning by walking out on his Blusens Avintia team.

Vinales is second in the Moto3 world championship but refused to take part in the Moto3 free practice at Sepang in Malaysia this morning.

Speaking to, the rider sited difficulties in not improving the bike and not getting what he asked for from the team and said he was heading home with three races of the championship still to go.
