Success for Pedrosa

Dani Pedrosa laid claim to a hard-fought victory over Casey Stoner and Jorge Lorenzo in this weekend’s German Grand Prix at Sachsenring.

Although it was Lorenzo who initially led the pack of Stoner, Pedrosa, Andrea Dovizioso and Marco Simoncelli, Pedrosa was able to challenge Lorenzo on the home straight of lap 22 of 30 – a position he would eventually maintain until the chequered flag. 

Lorenzo had to settle for second place, while the best position Stoner could manage was the third step of the podium.
