Aragon domination for Dani

Posted: 01 Oct 2012

Dani Pedrosa has dominated this weekend’s MotoGP race at Aragon, winning by more than six seconds from second-placed man Jorge Lorenzo.

Although polesitter Lorenzo took the holeshot, Repsol Honda rider Pedrosa took the lead from his second place position a few laps into the race. He quickly settling into a comfortable pace and maintained his position at the front of the field until the chequered flag.

Italian Andrea Dovizioso rode superbly from his sixth place qualifying position to finish on the third step of the podium, while Bennetts-supported Cal Crutchlow achieved another positive fourth place result. The popular British rider had narrowly missed out on his second rostrum finish of the season by just one tenth of a second, after qualifying on the front row of the grid.
