£10,000 on offer as Mallory Park's Race of the Year returns

Mallory Park's Race of the Year is back!

The Mallory Park “Race of the Year” returns to the Leicestershire circuit on Sunday 2 November with a massive £10,000 up for grabs across the categories with organisers hoping for a top class entry list.

British Superbike title fighter Ryuichi Kiyonari has already indicated he’ll be taking part in the 25 lap Superbike race aboard his Buildbase BMW with other figures from the British Superbike paddock expected to join him in competition for the trophy previously won by legends such as John Surtees and Giacomo Agostini.

The Superbike race comes with an impressive £2,000 jackpot for the winner with, £1,000 on offer for second and £750 for the third placed finisher.

The day’s schedule will also see Supersport, Superstock 600 and Superstock 1000 races plus the open 350-1000cc challenge.

The evening before the circuit will host its annual Fireworks and Bonfire Extravaganza, with live music from a Kings of Leon tribute act, a family fun fair, licensed bar and huge fireworks display – free to anybody who has an advance ticket for the Race of the Year.
