Fancy off-road? Get to the Dirt Bike Show

When the roads are wet, and winter gloves start feeling as if you're riding in boxing gloves, then we reach for some off-road actiuon here at Bike Social. It's trhe best way to get motorcycling kicks when the weather turns sour.

If you’ve ever fancied getting into riding off-road yourself then there’s no better place to start than at the International Dirt Bike Show at Stoneleigh Park in November.

The event runs from November 1 to November 4 at Stoneleigh in Warwickshire and features all the latest off-road bikes and kit, plus the chance to watch some off-road heroes in action and meet the world’s fastest enduro and motocross riders.

You’ll also get the chance to speak to the guys running off-road schools and practice tracks who’ll advise you on where you can have a go, and if your children are up for it you can get them involved through Honda’s My First Licence.

Once that’s ticked off then the halls are packed full of people who’ll give you loads of advice about getting into off-road, plus there will be tons of off-road kit bargains. There’s also a massive display of classic motocross and enduro bikes to gaze and drool over.

As well as getting the chance to size-up new bikes, you’ll also be able to clock the actual bikes used in the new James Bond movie, Skyfall. The CRF250Rs used in the new film will be on display on Honda’s stand, and you’ll also be able to meet the guy pictured here on Saturday November 3, Nico’ Aubin – the winner of the 2012 Red Bull Pro Nationals MX1 title.

We’ll be in attendance on the Friday so if you’re around, drop us a tweet at @marcpotter or @bennetts_bike and we’ll have a cuppa.

Tickets are on sale now and can be obtained by calling 0844 581 0735, or via the box office link on www.dirtbikeshow.co.uk
