New 1299 has helped Ducati achieve record sales so far this year.
Sales of new motorcycles seem to be on the up again this year after Ducati posted record sales for April 2015.

Driven by sales of the new Scrambler, the 1299 and the new Multistrada, the firm has sold 17,881 bikes worldwide this year, some 10 per cent up on this time last year.

A record 7309 Ducatis were delivered to customers in April alone. Ducati’s previous record was in May 2012 when they delivered 6500 bikes to excitable new owners.

In April 2015, Ducati sales showed a 50% increase in the UK year-on-year too, and the Ducati Scrambler has become the top-selling bike in Italy for the first quarter of this year.

Bike Social are pleased to say we're getting a new Ducati Multistrada as a long-term test bike this year, so will keep you posted on the performance of one of Ducati's best-selling new bikes.
