In 2017, Bennetts will continue its association with Suzuki in the British Superbike championship for a third year alongside Hawk Racing. The team, formed by Stuart Hicken, has been contesting the British Championships since the late 90’s with success on the track and recently on the roads, where they claimed the lap record at the Isle of Man TT in 2016 alongside Michael Dunlop.
2014 World Superbike champion, Sylvain Guintoli has been unveiled as Bennetts Suzuki’s headline signing as it is set to run the all-new Suzuki GSX-R1000R in the 2017 MCE British Superbike championship.
He will ride alongside reigning National Superstock 1000 champion, Taylor Mackenzie in the Superbike class while 2011 Superstock champion, Richard Cooper, seeks to regain his title in the new-look Superstock class.
The championship kicks off at Donington on 1st April and ends at Brands Hatch on 15 October. All rounds can be seen live on British Eurosport, with a highlights show on ITV4.
