About Roger Allmond

Roger Allmond grew up in Oxfordshire, where he still resides. As a child, he liked to fix and make his own bicycles, and would source different parts from a wide variety of bikes and assemble them into one rideable bike. This initial interest quickly led to a fascination with motorcycles and engineering that has occupied his mind for the past 30 years.

Roger’s first bike was a 250 BSA C15 which he turned into a dirt bike, and he then went on to restore a 250 Royal Enfield in his bedroom! He soon realised that restoration wasn’t enough for him and that making the actual parts for his bikes was what he wanted to do. This led to Roger spending every minute he could in the metal working shops at school, locking away every bit of knowledge he could from the teachers there.

When he finished school, Roger went on to serve a full engineering apprecticeship with Rover Cars in Oxford. At the age of 21, Roger then went on to start his own business and has run it ever since. He now has a vast knowledge of engineering and motorcycles, twinned with a huge amoung of engineering experience that includes mass production for BMW/Rover, fabricating parts for the F1 industry, and of course building and designing chassis and parts for motorcycles.

Roger decided 3 years ago that he would concentrate his efforts on becoming a custom bike designer. He studied at Coventry University and then went on to build the stunning T-Bob in conjunction with Ducati UK, which was recently shown for the first time at the AMD Proshow in Las Vegas. His next project was building the XYZ, an aluminium chassis built around a 2002 92” Victory engine, which combined traditional streetfighter style with his own modern and unique design.

All of Roger’s efforts are now focussed towards designing and building the best custom bikes and parts on the planet, which made him the perfect choice for building the world’s first, one-of-it’s-kind, Bennetts custom bike.
