Ducati unveils three new Scrambler specials

Peace Sixty2, Revolution and Artika, are three customised bikes designed and built by specially chosen Italian bike builders which will be previewed during the Verona held Motor Bike Expo event this weekend.

Disappointingly they will not be available to buy from Ducati UK.

Verona-based builders ‘Mr. Martini’ have now come up with the Peace Sixty2. Based on the new Sixty2, Mr Martini’s design comes equipped with a 1960s-style plexiglass fairing, a single-seat tailpiece, Termignoni exhaust and hand-crafted leather seat.

Ducati says, “With the Peace Sixty2 Mr. Martini also aims to express a state of mind. Indeed, the idea behind this bike took shape during the recent tragic events in Paris, a city extremely dear to Mr. Martini, where he has showcased his creations at numerous events and exhibitions.”

Revolution also started life as a Ducati Scrambler Sixty2. It has undergone the full bobber style treatment, hand-crafted by Officine Mermaid, the same team that previously came up with the Ducati Scrambler Scratch. The Milan-based builder has designed a leather solo-seat, new fork yokes and a new plate holder. A black colour scheme features an on-tank pin stripe. 

Artika was designed by Dario Lopez Studio and is a modern take on the Ducati Pantah Ice project of the late 70s, one of the iconic bikes displayed at the Ducati Museum in Borgo Panigale.

The Ducati Scrambler Artika retains the colour scheme of its yesteryear counterpart. The mechanics are based on the Icon version while chunky Pirelli tyres give it a unique look and degree of practicality...for when you’re riding in the snow.

Since its worldwide launch in September 2014, the Scrambler has been one of, if not the, most talked about new bikes since. 16,000 of the retro model sold in 2015 making it one of the world’s top ten best-selling bikes.

 The four versions of Scrambler are priced from £6,895 and we shall be testing the all-new 400cc, Scrambler Sixty2, next month.
