Vehicle theft, attempted theft and malicious damage incidents must be reported to the police within 48 hours. Take a note of the crime reference number, as you will be asked for it when contacting your insurance company to notify them of the incident.
Report any accident involving injuries, or where the other driver/rider does not stop.
If you become aware of any accident or loss involving your motorcycle, or of any other incident which may lead to a claim by you or a third party, report the incident as soon as possible by calling us on 0800 975 9166. We will then tell you what the next steps will be.
If you and your motorcycle are involved in an incident that is not your fault, you're NCD will be affected only until such time that your insurer is successful in recovering your vehicles repair costs from the third party. If successful your NCD is no longer affected. If you have a protected NCD, it will not be affected by the first 2 claims in any three-year period of cover.
